Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Armatus mobile application and related services ("Armatus", "the Service"). By creating an account or using Armatus you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Armatus provides personalised strength-training guidance, weekly plans, session logging, and related coaching features. The Service may use third-party machine-learning providers to generate coaching responses and plans based on the profile and activity data you provide.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/UK) to use Armatus. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Data & account → Delete account & data.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or violate these Terms.

4. Health & training disclaimer

Armatus provides general fitness guidance only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a qualified healthcare or coaching professional. Always consult your physician before starting or changing an exercise program. You accept full responsibility for how you interpret and apply any guidance from the Service. Stop training and seek medical help if you experience pain, dizziness, or other warning signs.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its operation.
• Do not upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.
• Do not use Armatus to provide professional coaching services to third parties as if it were a licensed medical or clinical tool.

6. Intellectual property

Armatus, including its name, branding, design, bocetos, software, and content we provide, is owned by Armatus or its licensors. You retain ownership of the personal data and logs you enter. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

7. Subscriptions & App Store

If paid features are offered, purchases and renewals are handled by Apple (or another platform store) under that store’s payment terms. Refunds are subject to the store’s policies unless applicable law requires otherwise.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that coaching output will meet your goals.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Armatus and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or training outcomes arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) USD $50.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Armatus from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or injury resulting from exercises you perform.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
